Rock Climbing in Mosta Valley
If you know about Malta, the little spec of island in the middle of the Mediterranean, you will know that there are no mountains or high land. Yet we do have alot of valleys and quite a nice patch of climbable cliffs. SUPER!
Yesterday me and @rooddzy went out climbing in Mosta Valley, right in the center of Malta. The wind was blowing very hard from south east thus we decided to go climb here because it is well sheltered.
The Valley itself is famous for a lovely little church which is situated right under the Maltese military weapons and ammo depot. If you believe in miracles this one can come in a big bang!
The valley itself is riddled with climbing routes. There are a series of little caves providing some of the best climbs on the island. We decided to go for the Chapel buttress. A little crag that has a good range of routes and also the only crag that was in the sun. @rooddzy made this very important choice otherwise it could have been life threatening!
