I am in Northern Az USA
and I have been fascinated by the art form of the Chinese characters, they are definitely a gorgeous way of expressing language
on paper it is a drawing and very close to or is pictography in my humble opinion:) Where as the english alfaphabet is abstracted far from what it is describing. Although it does have its vaules as well, its a mix of many languages...oh look at me I am going on....my husband has been to China, and we want to come and visit the Rainbow Painted Mountains of Danxia Geological Park...they are Stunning...it looks like Van Gogh painted them.
