Xinjiang: China's Wild West

This weekend, I took a trip to the autonomous region of Xinjiang in western China. I spent some time near the Kazakh border at Sayram Lake and later in one of China's hottest cities, Turpan. It was a 7 hour journey in between, but well worth it!
