Urban Exploration #13: Time Capsule House (Retro 70's Toys)

Fellow explorer Mike (instagram: mikehienhold) and I have been really lacking in urban exploration this summer. Well probably not compared to most people, but compared to the last summer for the two of us.

We have been bringing steel wool and several things out with us to shoot with and honestly have been lazy! We would check a location or two and if not successful, just start shooting other things. So last night I made sure to bring nothing else with me and have my mind set on abandonment. It worked like a charm and we ended up exploring five abandoned houses. This post is about the first of those houses.

We entered through the attic which was the most epic area of an abandoned house that I have ever seen! It was filled with old toys from the 1970's, old school work from the 70's/80's, music books from the 60's, and so much more! (The Jack in a box above and below, were dated 1971)

After sending nearly two hours in the attic alone, we made out way in the main are of the house. Which looked like something out of one of those hoarder TV shows lol.

It looked like literally everything the previous owners had, was just left behind. I didn't take many photos on the main floor, focusing mainly on shooting video (will be posted soon) but we did take the time to play around with some of the stuff we found inside.
