The Calm And The Storm

Knowing that a winter storm would be moving in the next morning, I made my way to the lake front in Burlington Ontario. I really enjoyed to peace and quiet (no one was out because of the cold) and was able to get this great "magic hour" shot of some ice formations, the pier, and a gorgeous sky.

I went home thinking how glad I was to get out before the storm, but I don't know who I was trying to fool lol. Do I ever stay in when there is a chance for photo's? Never! I was out getting photo's of the morning commute while being dumped on with snow.

Photo opportunities are everywhere, it just depends on if you are willing to get out there to take them!
