True, but some of the restaurants and hotels around the lake think, they don't need to invest or modernize their houses. They think, that the guests come anyway and pay any amount they want. Some still have the interiour and decor of the sixties!
Depending on their location very few are right, and some had to close or invest a lot of money to modernize and get paying guests.
Its tough for businesses i guess to get the right balance of what to spend on the facilities, especially in these tough time for many businesses I see so many closing these days, and restaurants are renowned for being the businesses that last the shortest
I would not like to be in the tourism business these days, when your income depends on the weather.

Ohh nope it is such a rough business a limited season and so dependent on the weather I would hate to work in that industry
Right, a winter without snow or a rainy summer, what is not seldom nowadays, and you have no money, unless you have other possibilities to offer to the guests ... it's not easy and certainly nothing for me.
Ohh yes it for sure is not something I would want to do
