Lanterns of the Peter and Paul Fortress. Part 1
These lanterns conquered me with their simple and elegant form. They look as natural and appropriate as possible. And I especially liked the design of the lamp holders: while the bulbs are not screwed in, it seems that electricity has nothing to do with it, that these are gas supply tubes.
A sign on the building reads as follows: The 1843 State Bank's fund vault. This is part of the museum exhibition. In this part of the Peter and Paul Fortress is a museum of money. At first glance it seems that the subject of the museum has nothing to do with the fortress, but it is not. Since the 18th century, the Mint of St. Petersburg has been operating in the fortress.

Давно я не бывал в тех краях...
Кажется, это место не очень сильно изменилось... или я не замечаю, потому что перемены постепенно происходят.
