The National Bonsai & Penjing Museum at the National Arboretum in DC

One of the joys of living in DC are all the free museums in the area. If anyone has ever visited the National Mall, no doubt they have seen all the Smithsonian Museums that line it. However, the National Bonsai & Penjing Museum at is perhaps less visited as it is located in the National Arboretum in the North East quadrant of the city, away from the main tourist attractions near the National mall. But if you are in DC, let me assure you that the Arboretum, and the Bonsai museum located in it, are well worth the visit. It's kind of an oasis in the middle of the city.
