Sunset and Soon

Sunset doesn't mean the end of the day, it means the start of writing for the night. Actually though, at this time of the year the sun doesn't actually set until 10:51 tonight, so writing will start a bit earlier.

It is getting a little exciting though. I bought a laptop today that I will have to set up after I return from the gym. I will continue posting at night from the terrible tablet/bt keyboard I am using but, my wife will soon be onboard the Steemit boat. It has been a long time coming and I am not sure yet whether she will want to remain mostly anonymous to begin with.

I think she is a little sceptical as to how it will work for her and whether she will be able to cope with the technical aspects of Steemit. I think she will learn fast enough. Like in many relationships, she and I are very different indeed so it will be interesting to see what kind of material she will begin posting and where it will end up in the future.

This shot is from the botanical gardens in my city. I had to do some obvious recovery work to bring the ducks back into the scene from the darkness but I like the feel of this. Even though there is fire in the sky, there is a passivity and calmness in the scene.
