Well, imho for stunning and rememberable family portraits the natural light is Da Best. Any on camera flash just makes everything too much digital and different mood. And studio flashes is completely defferent story...

I have an EM-1 so it has no on-cam. At the moment I only have one off-cam flash but hopefully one day will get another to experiment with. I have not really been much of a portrait photographer and prefer taking pictures of things that don't complain about how they look after ;D
