Long exposure across the lake

The lights across the lake came out particularly well in these and give the photos a slightly unreal quality in some way. They are taken from a local harbour I photograph often at different times of the year as I enjoy walking though the area as most of the time there are few people. It is not that I avoid people in general, it is just more pleasant to photograph alone sometimes, especially for longer exposures. It gives me time to appreciate the surroundings and think in peace.
