A symbol of Wisdom

Lotus flowers symbolize wisdom, enlightenment, as well as a person’s desire for the renewal of vitality. Its beauty is bewitching and at any time of the year it is beautiful in a own way.

The ancient Egyptians noticed that the lotus blossoms at sunset, and at sunrise it closes and immerses in water. They decided that the flower is associated with the sun, so they dedicated the lotus to the sun god Osiris.

Because priests decorated themselves with this flower. In the same way, the pharaohs, in a sign of their divine origin, wore lotus wreaths on their heads. At feasts, along with refreshments, guests were presented with lotus flowers at all costs.
