Walking through the ancient city of Akko

  The ancient city of Akko in Israel is over 4000 years old. Of course, this is not the only city with such an age of existence. However, it is unique. Than? All these 4000 years in this city did not stop life! The epoch changed, wars raged around the city, he passed from hand to hand, and yet he lived!

  We lived in the north of Israel not far from Akko and therefore we had the opportunity to visit there. Once we went there with our friends.

  The city of Akko is located near the Mediterranean Sea. Earlier it was an important ancient port.

  We walked along the narrow streets of the ancient city and imagined how people lived here before.

  Once upon a time, Napoleon was never able to capture this Akko. We climbed the walls from which the defenders of the city fought against the army of Napoleon.

  In Akko, we passed through an ancient underground tunnel, looked at the Halls of the Crusaders. And finally we sat in a cozy oriental restaurant on the beach.
