MarketFriday – Israeli supermarket
Hi, Steemit!!!
Today is #MarketFriday!!! We will go to the most ordinary Israeli supermarket. In it nothing special and eastern :) I want to show you that supermarkets are everywhere the same :) I surprised you? Of course not! :)))
Immediately at the entrance we usually have a department of vegetables and fruits. We rarely buy them here, but today I'll buy something.
This! Sprouted wheat is very useful. It contains vitamins A, D, E, a large number of B vitamins and other vitamins. The mineral composition is represented by 21 microelements.
Sprouted wheat is an excellent natural means of strengthening immunity, especially at a time when other sources of vitamins and minerals are inaccessible. This product helps to combat premature aging of the organism, the substances that make up its composition have antitumor effect. We take it!
Then we'll look for hummus. Here he is!
If you do not know, hummus is an appetizer of chickpeas, which usually includes sesame paste (tahini), olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, paprika. This can be prepared by myself, but I'm lazy and I'm buying ready :)))
I like to eat hummus pasta with sprouted wheat. We go further and in one of the departments I see it!
I read many times in the girls' posts FRUITS & VEGGIES MONDAY by @lenasveganliving about maple syrup. It is necessary to try it!
In the window there are several varieties of this syrup I do not know which is better, so I take the most beautiful in appearance :))) And immediately I remember Lena @lenasveganliving :)
Our next stop is at the Chinese department. I gradually master this product :) Today I want to buy rice pasta.
On the way to the cashier, do not forget to look into the department of sweets :)
See the cute spotted cow on the package? This is an Israeli firm. They have very good chocolate.
So, what do we have in the end?
Just what we needed in the supermarket!
Have a nice Friday !!!
It is good to know that you can go almost anywhere in the world and find that food that is a comfort to you, yes?
They have maple syrup? :) Very cool! You will love the sweet taste of it, especially when used in cooking, although my kids could drink it from the bottle!
I love hummus and try to make my own, but, the market I go to makes their own and sometimes my lazy bones just buy it.
Thank you for showing off your market. I love it and it really does bring me comfort. I know I can find the other markets, but sometimes familiar is good when you have been away from home for a while.
Love your participation in #MarketFriday! Always appreciated and hope you have an awesome weekend!
Upped and Steemed tip!
wow !!! Do you also have hummus? it's really amazing. the world has become like one big village :))) you are right, Denise, it is very convenient when you travel to be able to buy food that is familiar to you
look very nice and clean
yes this supermarket! but Israel in general is not famous for its cleanliness :)))
Food around the world still different. Good thing.
but it seems to me that only the firms that produce it differ :)))
Wow! Happy weekend! Groceries enough!
thank you, Judith! I also wish you a pleasant weekend
Wow wee..you got a bit of everything there! looks like you will also have a very healthy meal :-)
we try to follow that it was so. on not healthy food you need health :)))
We can't seem to make it out of a store without looking at the sweets either. Great #MarketFriday post!
that's for sure! :))) I can still afford chocolate
It doesn't look any different then our supermarkets here in Toronto. You have even Maple syrup there, that's amazing. And of course humus and Pad Thai noodless. I think I could find all I need there.
and I, too, if I come to Canada :))) maple syrup we liked :)
Hi @tali72! You have received 0.1 SBD tip + 0.02 SBD @tipU from @dswigle :)
Check out new tipuvote! feature :)
A great trip to the market! I love maple syrup, but it is rather expensive here.
At us too it not cheap but to afford to buy it it is possible :)
Nice to see that supermarkets around the world do stock a bit of everything that you might need. Thanks for sharing @tali72
