The exhibition of “jaslice - Christmas nativity scene” Sveta Gora 2017
In Christmas time Christians are celebrating the birth of the Jesus, son of the God, messiah. For this occasion I’ve visited a known pilgrimage route of Sveta Gora above Nova Gorica. It’s a really nice place to visit, whether hiking or just going with your car, you will enjoy the wonderful view of Soča valley and if you are more religious you can participate to church rituals. Sometimes they also perform concerts. The place is also a popular wedding choice of many couples. But back to the Christmas time.
Every Christmas they prepare the exhibition of “jasilce” the nativity scene. Lokal people, artists, kids, communities are participating and creating real pieces of art. As you will see below there are no borders for a human imagination or art. Enjoy the photos :)
This one is the crazy idea number one, by my judgment. Really never saw jaslice made out of screws. :D

Wow! A lot of interesting details here. As a child, I remember that "jaslice" were in all churches and under all families Christmas trees.
