The Laziest Photographer in the World - Polaroid Instant Photography #9
It was never lost on me that for years and years I felt like the laziest photographer in the world. I carried my Polaroid Spectra around with me for a long, long time. I never worried about f-stops, exposure, shutter speeds, filters or any of the other stuff that goes hand in hand with traditional photography. Blecccch. Gimme my instant photography and lemme point and shoot!
I may have been uninspired to use a professional camera, but I mastered my Spectra and developed a distinctive style that I still love to look at.
Photo: DAVID. Mexicali, Mexico. 1989.
This was an early photo that was taken at a wedding in Mexico that a friend invited me to. I met this kid named David who also had a Polaroid camera and I had to get a picture of him with it. Do you ever wonder about photos people took of you that you've never seen? Maybe David's on Steemit and he'll see this. Hi David!

Haha I'm the same way. I bought a $2k camera and the only thing I really adjust is aperature. Everything else I just leave on auto or wing it.
I think when you think too much about adjusting shutter speeds, iso, and all of that stuff for every photo, it takes the joy out of photography (unless you just like that stuff).
Anyways great post @tacostate!

I hear ya! I've always used other cameras besides the Polaroid, but I am often like you describe and keep it very simple. I'm really trying to expand my horizons though and it is improving my photography.
Haha yeah! It definitely does help understanding everything and that helped me improve my photography skills alot as well. I think I started really enjoying taking pictures after I started to learn Lightroom and Photoshop. Those made a world of a difference for me.
