Wow, thank you so much for this comment. It really helps a lot, I am definitely here for community building, mainly bushcraft. When you say join a community, is that like joining a group on facebook? If so, how is this done? As for the axe question, Gransfors Bruk is a different company from Hults Bruk. Both are great companies and both are in Sweden.
Most communities right now are "off" the steemit platform. Either in www.steemit.chat or on the Discord App. You will see the Discord invites in various places. If it is a group you are interested, go join in. Follow the link and register/join.
Steemit.chat is not Steemit.com. You just go their and setup an account with your Steemit user name and a different password. Then explore the different channels and make friends.
