You're right! It's our own personal choice as to how we want to feel on any given day. I try to remember to have a positive outlook everyday. It can be hard at times but life is good to us 😁
It is very important to be in control of your own mind. I'm still learning that, and I doubt that I will ever learn it completely ;) I'm trying to find happiness is every single day. Happiness is beauty everywhere around us, and we tend to ignore it because is 'small', which is for sure paradox. Beauty cannot be small.
I don't think anyone can ever completely learn to control their mind. Emotions are very strong so will win over from time to time. I just try to find happiness and gratitude in the little things in life that we often take for granted. My favourite thing to do on Steemit is to see all the beautiful places in this world through everyone's travel blogs.
