Islands of Winter

Dear Steemers,

While living in Greece, I saw the country and its dynamics in winter and summer.

I actually realized that during the summer, the cities were empty. Almost ghost alike. And this is definitely no surprise as
the country has so many islands.

However, I was lucky enough to be able and travel to the islands also during winters.

These are some pictures I took in Zante island, back in 2008 :) Not a bad year in overall... you can see it in the mood of my pictures!

I loved to visit islands during the winter though. They were calm and no tourists around to spoil the atmosphere of the local culture.
