Hellebore Flowers
Hello, my dear friends!
How are you feeling today?
I would like to write today, about these beautiful, and strong flowers, commonly know as Hellebores, which consists of approximately twenty species of evergreen flowering plants.
Some call these flowering plants with different names for example like:
Winter Rose
Christmas Rose
Lenten Rose
What I love about these flores?
How strong they are, and the beauty of their colors. And, also because these flowers are a great food source in the winter time for bees and birds.
And, they bloom in the beginning in the late end of the winter season!
Which I think is fabulous to see the white snow covered with these beautiful flowers full of different colors that add happiness to our landscape. Our lovely Mother Nature! :)
Hellebores are not related to the rose family even these lovely flowers bloom similar to our beloved roses.
Lenten Rose flowers are not edible like other flowers, please be very careful!
The creative genius of these beauties is Carl Linnaeus in 1753. Carl was a botanist Swedish, physician and zoologist.
Hellebores are European natives plants.
These flowers love cold climate.
They are super easy to grow in your garden.
One point, I would like to recommend to you, is that Hellebore flowers are very sensitive to poor drainage. Water only once a week.
Hellebore flowers don't like wet soil.
This is a very important point if you want to have healthy Lenten Roses!
In my opinion, they are perfect for gardening because they don't need much of your care and time.
In fact, required low maintenance. Which is a great advantage for your garden!
Lenten Rose is a very popular flower in the botanical world!
They exist in different colors and shapes.
It is very important to know that requirements part of shade, or full shade of light every day.
When the plant star blooming in a green color you know for a fact that the beautiful spring season is as this way......
Have a lovely day! =)
Thank you! :)

Steem on...Until next time =)
These flowers are beautiful. Somehow, they look unhappy. They droop a little and they seem to frown. However, they are very beautiful.
Ha, ha, ha...;)
Thank you very much for making laugh this morning! :) What happened with these flowers is that they are tired from partying with mushrooms in the forest the night before!
@goldkey Have a wonderful weekend. :)
Thanks for your lovely comment!
