Is that taken by macro lens @stresskiller ? Wow. You have good experience in photography. Your photos are not overlight or excess light, which can cause the color photo objects are too bright or tend all white. Good job, your picture is perfect. Always show your best photo. I have new post let's have a look. Good job

Hi Yuclino , i use most of the times combinations of reversed lenses , extension tubes and a Panagor Auto Macro Converter , old school material no auto focus and no data to the exif files, and sometimes i just forget to add the info manually to the raw files.

Congrats @stresskiller. Your photo made it on the Top Photographs Daily Selection today :). Upvoted and Resteemd!

everyday in the garden is a day well spent

lovely collection again @stresskiller!

what kind of setup was required to get that last super closeup shot?

if i remember correctly it was an old vivitart 35-70mm reversed

ok... i tried my other lenses (other than the 55mm I always use these days) and the reversed lens thing doesnt really work well... plus I am a bit scared to use my more expensive glass that way...

I'll have to dig something up on ebay... can you recommend anything in particular to get decently crisp and really close shots at a budget?!

best things are the "old"manual lenses where you have aperture control on the lens it self , search for rokkor 28mm or rokkor 35mm on ebay i use the 28mm my self but i still want to try the 35mm one day :) the28mm will have a better magnification . see also https://petapixel.com/2015/05/01/shooting-insect-macros-on-the-cheap-with-a-reversed-lens/
and this also gives some nice info https://photographylife.com/focal-length-in-reverse-lens-macro-technique

allrighty! thanks a bunch for sharing your tips again!

Taking this with me - i like them all but especially the geranium; lovely! Resteeming later that gives more exposure

Thank you very much Judith

Wow at that last one man! the eyes!!
