Beginning of the Bolshaya Nevka River (Petrograd Side)

The second bridge across the Bolshaya Neva is Grenadier, which got its name from the barracks of the Grenadier Regiment (officer corps) located just in front of the bridge. This bridge is also adjustable (one wing), length 218.8 meters, width 27 meters. Behind the bridge is the Botanical Garden, the only park in Petrogradka. This is a wonderful place not only for recreation, but also for knowing the world around us.

The Big Nevka carries its waters further to the Gulf of Finland. Through it three more bridges are thrown. The length of the river is about 8.5 kilometer, the width is from 50 to 360 meters, the depth is up to 8.5 meters. If you swim along the river from the Neva, you can see the three islands of Petrograd, Krestovsky, Elagin.
