Cows don't wanna go outside - It's raining
Hi Steemers and Steemsters. When it's raining, the cows do not want to go out as much as they like. Some cows do not care but the same cows always come back to the stable when it's rainy weather.
They just hang around at the entrance of the stable, but they can not go inside again until each of the 130 cows have been through the milking robot.
Another favorite activity, close to the entrance of the dry stable, for these cows, is hanging around the courtyard and the silo feed.

Hi @steemspoker, nice post, what type of cow is the brown and white ones?
It´s a mix of breeds. We do not select on special breeds.
The most cows have "Holstein" roots.

Thanks for the reply, I was just curious as the look similar to simentaler cows we have here, which the use for meat production and not for milk.

They are really pretty cows. From the comments I'm assuming they are going to be eaten! Poor pretty cows. They look like they've had baths and are super clean. Must have been the rain.
These are organic dairy cows but their destiny is ultimately the slaughterhouse.

Cows trying to game the system, they have brains, are you in New Zealand as the grass and weather look similar right now.
It is spring in the Netherlands.
Rain is normal and good in this period.
and now I'm thinking about steak.

enlighten the lost. whats the difference between organic and uh... un-organic cows?
No penicillin, no hormones, no antibiotics and the animals eat organic food.
