This is Billy, a koala stoned out of his mind in the Hamilton Island wildlife sanctuary
Old Billy the koala got himself in a bit of a scrap and came off second best, losing an eye. He’s being taken care of by the wonderful staff at “Hamilton Island wild life sanctuary.”
The sanctuary looks after any of the injured wildlife found on the island and has become a fantastic place for tourists visiting the island to get up close and personal with some of our native animals.
Every time I see old Billy, he is in this almost drunken or stoned position up the tree in the cafe. The eucalyptus leaves they eat make the high as a kite!!
I have not gone through the sanctuary myself, but I plan to. I shall do a post about it when I do.

Umm, exactly how far away fare you from the Hamilton island?
By the way if your going to visit the sanctuary more often you should bring a kite or 2 the next time you visit and try flying a kite inside the sanctuary to see if he really is that high up....probably your not allowed to fly it inside the sanctuary but its still a Breezy-coastline try it there!
