😘 Happy HUMP DAY! This Week's Artistic Nude Photography Plus DPORN and VICE Updates

It's Wednesday... so welcome to another one of my Hump Day NSFW reports.

_{The History: As many of you know I used to participate in most of the NSFW photography contests sponsored by the Whaleshares Community as it was really the only place to showcase any kind of art (photography or other mediums) that contained nudity on Steemit where it could be fairly discusses in a mature manner. Once those contests ended I gradually stopped posting anything that has to the "tagged NSFW" until the conversation was reignited with the announcement of the VICE platform being scheduled for launch this summer. In a few months we will have a place to showcase our work and build an artist community where it will be appreciated.}

Today's photographs are from a model session a few years ago. A single studio flood light was used to light the model's body and create the high contrast silhouette lines.

The photos were taken with my Fuji S2 Pro using a 50mm f1.8 lens.

📢 VICE UPDATE

As I mentioned before, the VICE Token crowdsale is underway. It is currently an ERC-20 token so you have to purchase them using a compatible Ethereum wallet; MEW or MetaMask is recommended. The crowdfund ends on March 20th and VICE Tokens will be distributed at that time.

For those following along in the VICE telegram channel you would have come across this little gem the other day, Stuart dropped a link to the work-in-progress dev site for the upcoming VICE platform with has a working title of "ViceTube" on the site. No need to scroll through days of conversations to hunt it down... I've got it right here for you.

He also commented on an announcement coming tomorrow (March 8th), which is also International Women's Day, so we'll see if there is any relation to that.

There has also been a lot of marketing and publicity buzz over the past week around the VICE token and platform including write-ups by CamLifeMag.com and others and Tweets by Penthouse and Elegant Angel as well as many others in the industry. It seems like the word about VICE is getting around.

📢 DPORN.CO UPDATE

We are waiting on a functional Alpha release that was expected two weeks ago, but as with everything in the software/website development, sometimes things take a bit longer than expected. We'll see how this project develops in the coming weeks.

The official DPorn.co website shows 6 Days Left on the countdown, while sporting a lawsuit provokingly similar tagline as the one VICE has trademarked and playing an unlicensed/unsponsored music video by Myko in the background. Two things they might want to reconsider.

The @DPorn Team did released the first draft of their whitepaper about 2 weeks ago giving details on how the platform and token will work.

Over the past week the price of PORND Tokens have been all over the place as speculation flies on the alpha release date, the project timeline and general rumors (up/down) that are typical around new blockchain platforms. Like anything else, if you only buy and hold what you can afford or are willing to completely lose and are thinking long-term, then who cares what it does today, tomorrow, or yesterday. Just ride it out and see where it takes you.

💡 As a closing note: As I mentioned before, it has not been lost on many of us keeping track of the vast array of new chains spinning off of STEEM that the two adult platforms under development look strikingly similar. Stepping back from it, most responsive/bootstrap templates look very similar at their core - it's a matter of how you dress them up and format the content that sets them apart. Given that most adult sites incorporate black, charcoal, red, and pink as their go-to color schemes, they are bound to have similarities on the surface. The similar taglines might be an issue, especially with VICE going the corporate route and trademarking theirs. We'll see how it all plays out.
