Graz: Before Storm
Graz was the place I called home for more than two years.
Now I returned for a short business trip and I found the courage to go for a walk to the city center and take a nice picture of the Clock Tower, despite the fact that today, the nice weather decided to give it up, and the city prepared for a mood change.
The landmark of the city of Graz, the tower is also one of the oldest buildings, and the highest spot in town:
Also, a remarcable spot, Murinsel, is an artificial floating platform in the middle of the Mur river, that serves as a meeting point for local artists, and as a great place to stop for a coffee:
By the way, do you know that I'm giving out 50 POCKETs to the readers making quality comments on my posts?
I've been to Graz a number of times, I think it is one of the best little cities in this world.
I would go for business and then make it a "tourist" like shopping trip for me and my wife.
Ofcourse as a tourist it is always "nicer" than to many of the people who live there.
Yes, as a tourist, I fully agree: Graz it's a small, trendy city, with lot of cultural events all year long.
But living In Graz for two years, was a a completely different story for me.
