Foggy Danube / Nebel über der Donau

Today morning when I looked out of my office (21st floor) there was a thick layer of fog hovering over the danube despite the sun was out already. If you look closely you see that the office building creates a shadow on the fog! Less than 20 minutes later the fog was dissolving already and the Danube revealed.

Heute Morgen, als ich aus meinem Bürofenster (im 21.Stock) sah, hing noch eine dicke Nebelwand über der Donau, obwohl die Sonne schon heraussen war. Wenn man genau schaut, sieht man, dass das Bürogebäude einen Schatten auf den Nebel wirft. 20 Minuten später war dann fast nichts mehr übrig vom Nebel und die Donau zeigte sich.

Danke. Ja, aber man nimmt ihn mit der Zeit gar nicht mehr wahr. Ausser wenn sich die Jahreszeiten ändern.

Well, I suppose you start working early in the morning.
I've been working a 21st floor too, a while ago. Now, I'm working at home, which is much better, even though I'm making less money.
