Red Oak II

There's a little town in Missori called Red Oak II.....

The story, as I remember it, was that this guy grew up in a town in Missouri called Red Oak. He moved away for a while and when he came back, the town was gone. So he decided to recreate it in a different location and named it Red Oak II. The original Red Oak is technically still there, but it's now a ghost town.

Some of the buildings that are in Red Oak II are actual buildings from the original Red Oak. Some of the buildings are recreations of buildings from Red Oak.

It's actually a cute little place that's pretty much in the middle of nowhere. There's only one way in and out. But it's a really pretty area.

You can also live in this town. There are houses that have satellite hooked up and the works! They all pretty much look like artistic homes.

So the guy that created this town is also a metal sculptor and creates some really neat art that way too.

It was the money from selling his metal art that allowed him to recreate his boyhood town.
