Work on a boat for pearls - Australia - WA

Broome is well known for its pearl farms. The pearl has been cultivated since 1880. At the beginning of the century, it was considered the world capital of the pearl industry (80% of the world production of mother-of-pearl).

I worked on a boat for the culture of pearls 3 trips of 10 days, it was an amazing experience to live in the ocean night & day. I seen sharks, whales, sea snakes and many different colorful fish ! The work was hard but the fatigue was worth it and the money as well :) I had the chance to work an excellent team which helped a lot to keep your smile up during these long days !
