Munich Botanical Garden - Part ii
When living in Munich, I was lucky enough to be within walking distance of the Botanical Gardens.
Home to approximately 19,500 species and subspecies, it is a truly spectacular place to take a stroll, no matter the season.
The plants, trees and flowers are looked after with real care and attention to detail (as you would expect of Germans!), resulting in some really wonderful displays that appeal to the senses - layers of colour, texture and scents, to the soundtrack of the birds and insects.
It is a peaceful oasis to escape from city life and reflect on the beauty and diversity of nature.
Wonderful photos.
The only part of Germany I've been to this past summer was Berlin. But Munich is on my list, especially having hosted a wonderful Airbnb guest from Munich.
Munich is an awesome city. Completely different vibe from Berlin; more relaxed, greener, and Bavarian!
