Munich Botanical Garden - Part i
When living in Munich, I was lucky enough to be within walking distance of the Botanical Gardens.
Home to approximately 19,500 species and subspecies, it is a truly spectacular place to take a stroll, no matter the season.
You can observe plants, trees and flowers from around the world - the hot + humid tropical rainforests and dry arid deserts contained in the glasshouses to the alpine plants of more temperate regions, imposing trees of the Arboretum, or scented rhododendron glades and rose + herb gardens.
It is a peaceful oasis to escape from city life and reflect on the beauty and diversity of nature.

So beautiful :D I would like to visit munich too
Its a great place - if you ever get a chance to visit you wont be bored, there is so much to see and do!
These are great.
Sounds like a wonderful sanctuary in the city.
I've visited Munich several times in my life. It's a wonderful city. So clean. So serene. So old-worldly.
I've never been to this botanical garden, I'm sorry I missed out.
Best of everything to you,

Thanks for stopping by! If you ever find yourself in Munich again, you definitely need to check out these gardens. They are a bit outside the central area, but worth the trip!
