Lake Minnewaska, NY

The spring thaw is just beginning at Lake Minnewaska, but snow lingers on and the lake is still frozen over, unable to shake free of winter's grip.

Only 100 miles easy drive from NYC. Well worth the trip!

      Yep - loads of beautiful lakes in New England. Just a shame I could only tick a few off during my time Stateside. Reason to return though!
