Exploring the German underground

One of my biggest passions is to explore abandoned mines.
I love the darkness, the quietness and the unknown.
We went inside mines all over Europe and drove several thousand km.

This iron mine was closed 1974 and everything was left!
The picture was made on the 3rd level, 150m (493ft) deep under the surface.
We had to go down by rope.
