As many of you know my Dad is retired and voluntarily homeless. He lives in a mini van he converted into a mobile home and travels the United States full time. He stays mostly out west and he just loves it out there. We stay in regular contact and he uses my place as a base. I'm his secretary so to speak. I handle his mail and keep him informed as to family news and I relay news from his to the rest of the family. Every once in a while he sends me a picture and I thought some folks out there would like to see them.

This is a picture he took of a road runner in Arizona. Not as large as the one in the cartoons but a bird most of the US is not able to see. Dad has a camera (critter cam) he sets up to capture wildlife and it's what he used to capture this one. He also enjoys collecting agate while in Arizona. He's become quite the rockhound and has a tumbler not on the bus now. Gotta have a hobby! Having four solar panels on the roof allows him to do pretty much anything he wants.

I can't share all the pictures he sends because I don't want to put the locations he likes to frequent out there. He does capture some really nice landscapes folks outside of the United States are not able to see often.
