Holy ICE STORM Batman!!

Hello Beautiful Steemians!
Hope everyone's holidays were enriching and fabulous.
Here in BC, Canada we were pelted with a major ice storm (freezing rain) for a few days! This storm included snow, ice rain and rare lightning which was incredible. Makes me wonder if someone was playing with HAARP? Power outages for days everywhere and trees are down all over the place with road closures and damage. Clean up is just starting, i've been indoors for a few days now and it's been kind of nice to catch up on some projects, meditate and my fave...sitting by a warm fire with a hot cacao in hand. My truck is covered in 2" thick ice! I ventured out close by to take some pics to show you. It was so slippery and icicles falling everywhere! I must say it is so beautiful regardless of the disasters it caused. These pics are from my yard, enjoy!

I love all nature, so I help out where I can. Am I the only one who worries about the outdoor creatures in this weather and hope they're ok? If I could bring them all in I would. Cute lil hummingbird friends of mine, so tiny :) There's a boy and girl hummingbird who come by, I know they appreciate it because they fly right up to my face look me in the eye and do their chirppy thing, truly amazing! Makes me smile. Warms my heart.
