How are you this evening?
If you would care to come in for a sit, you're more than welcome. Smoking some indica. Listening to CBC's "after dark" and drinking some gratitude. Also known as Appleton Estate 12 year rum.
Was given to me earlier tonight by a couple I do carpentry for every now and again on the side.
Delicious.

Just thought I would steemit and chill for a bit, I must admit I'm a little addicted to you already. I always used to scoff at the idea of having a journal online for everyone to see. As time went on I began to think of why we keep journals, it's a way to get things sorted in a way, off your chest a bit. A journal by the bed isn't letting anything go anywhere is it? Flinging it all into the void for anyone to read makes it a little more therapeutic i think.. so long as you are mindful of what you fling and where. There is a nice release in knowing that you can let thoughts fly out of you and they simply catch on a leaf for a time before evaporating into the background.

Did I mention I might put down a word or two...three maybe?

It's been a day.
Not a bad day.
Not a good day.
The kind of day that passes by with an air of indifference.
On your way home your mind drifts and sways to this thought and that.
You think of lovers, friends and lovely friends.
A general, familiar feeling of calm blankets you as you enter your home.
