They grow a lot of them in Ukraine also, the fields are breathtaking. We call them sunflowers in English.
Yes, it's a common flower for decoration and for the seeds, here in spain it's called "girasol"
"suncokret" in Croatian, meaning "turns with the sun"
The same in spanish : )
Guess its universal thing :)
