If Your Camera Or Phone Can Capture Photos In RAW and Jpeg Use It!!(Extreme Example)

So I have recently started working with RAW photos from my smartphone. I noticed how much information my pictures were missing out on by just snapping normal jpegs. Photos I may have thought would have been nice if they weren't over or under exposed. Well RAW changes all of that. Below is an extreme example. Feel free to take the original jpeg my phone made below and do all you can with whatever photoshop/editor and pull from it the image from above. Using the RAW file of the same photo (phone saves both jpeg and dng at same time) I was able to crank out what little of the cameras sensor was able to obtain. Information the standard jpeg the phone stores the photo in that was just discarded.

By cranking a few lighting settings was able to see everything that was actually captured.

The image you see in the first picture is just not here on this one. Expose, brightness, contrast nothing is going to make you see any detail in this photo.
