It’s MJ’s Time - Off To The River!!

It’s been a while we did not take her out. Our dog Mj was with my partner for 2 years now. She’s a dachshund poodle breed or Doxiepoo. She’s very smart and I learned a lot of things on how to properly take care of a dog when I met her. Unlike in our province dogs they will just eat our leftovers and we will not pay much attention to them. Mj has her own food but sometimes I will secretly give her table food. My partner definitely knows she got table food even if I will not tell him. I learned not to treat her like a human, I treat her like a dog. Dogs love to be told what to do. At first it was really hard for me but slowly I got it.

Yesterday my partner drove us to the River. She was so happy 😀 There is a new concrete road going to an old airport that we never take and we believed that it was concrete all the way out to the highway. So we took the route for the first time but after driving for like 200 meter away it was all dirt and bumpy. @ivantorres continued to drive until we reached the highway. Meanwhile, Mj enjoyed sticking her face out of the window and I loved seeing her curly hair fly around.

While my partner was dealing with the rough road Mj and I enjoyed the green picturesque around. We saw mountains ⛰ and mango plantations which are bearing plenty of flowers. I felt the fresh air touching my face while mj kept sticking her face out. I can tell she likes it too as much as I did.

It was so nice to be out with Mj. She will listen to me now. We went to Cabula resort were the river is located. The resort has only one huge swimming pool facing to the river. We did not get in there though. We just let Mj play at rocky shoreline and sniff everywhere. She drank a lot of water (maybe she smelled some fresh fish).

Here’s our precious moment together jumping the big rocks and sometimes walk in the mud. It’s my first time here with Mj walking along side of the river. We saw people water rafting, there were three brave elderly women in raft. The place we stayed is the finish line of the water rafters. I would love to swim in the river and play with Mj but the water color stopped me in doing so. I like it when I can see the bottom of the water and how deep it is however the water is dark yellow.
Nevertheless, we enjoyed our time throwing rocks, walking and dipping our feet to the water.

As you can see the water color is not inviting but the view is awesome!
