Infrared - Mushrooms growing from dead tree logs

Some remarkable woodloving mushrooms with amazing waves going through them.

Because the logs are dead, but the vines, mushrooms and underbrush are alive and reflect infrared light back to me giving this appearance you see now.

Another mushroom, the magic of how they are like plants but different. They challenge my understanding of what use they have for light.
