Dialogues With Dog #1

A vehicular noise caught my dog's attention and I told her that it sounded like a tuk-tuk to me (the spelling of that name versus its phonetics is annoying).

She didn't know what a tuk-tuk was so I had to explain the socio-economic factors that contributed to its popularity in different parts of the world.

I tried to be over-simplistic, because she's a dog, and explained that poverty generally drives the tuk-tuk. I was looked at with disapproval and was subsequently snubbed.

P.S. This is my #dog, Leyla. She's a fanatic for Fetch.
