The Big BLue Sky in Big Sur California

This is the coastal shoreline of Big Sur, California, a place you cannot currently easily get to. To the north and south of where I took this image, the mountains have collapsed onto the road and completely washed it into the Pacific Ocean. It will be months before those roads are open again, maybe! 

Big Sur is a beautiful place that you should visit if you get a chance.

Rarely do I shoot on the ground but this was such a pretty scene, so blue, with the sky and the ocean and the green of the spring bloom on the shoreline. Live it and love it!!

This image is from my ongoing project in which I am trying to raise awareness of the 47% of the USA and 90% of Canada that remain unpopulated wilderness.
