Sunny Nice on the French Riviera
Nice was founded in the IV century BC, and its great popularity acquired in many ways with the influx of the aristocracy to the Cote d'Azur.
Although I managed to go there for only a few days, I remember most of all the six-meter English embankment, which stretches along the entire bay with the poetic name "Bay of Angels." And in the port you will see both magnificent yachts and boats, several times I met and huge liners that came here from different parts of the world.
In Nice, it is more correct to come in June, when it is not very hot, and the sea is so gentle, there is a complete calm. There are few people, and water as a pair of milk is a paradise.
People do not look at each other at all. Just relax, swim and sunbathe. Nobody does not bother anyone. Do what the soul likes. Nobody cares who you went to swim with, whether you have a trendy swimsuit and stuff. Psychology is different here. Nobody thinks about what others think of you. Here, people are not at all obsessed with the way they impress others. They just live and enjoy life.
When I come to a city in which there is a sea, first of all I go to the sea. And only then I start to visit interesting places and surroundings for me. So it was in Nice. After the sea we rode on such excursion trains here, listened to the guide, learned a lot from the history of the city.
We walked around the famous grand hotel "Negresco", which is a symbol of the entire Côte d'Azur, looked at the hotel "Astor", admired the numerous fountains, had a bite in one restaurant ...
In Nice there are many interesting places, you can go to the Place Massena, see the famous fountain called "The Sun" with the majestic seven-meter statue of Apollo. If you like painting, I advise you to visit the Marc Chagall Museum, or the Matisse Museum. There is in Nice and a museum of modern art, with a real garden on the roof and numerous glass corridors. You can also see the St. Nicholas Cathedral, the largest Orthodox church in Western Europe.
But after all the sights of Nice I'm still drawn here - to the sea. I love fresh sea air and elegant palm trees on the English embankment. In the evening everything here wakes up. What kind of illumination happens, everything burns with bright colors, sparkles, explodes, life really boils.
I love and ride on these trams. They are comfortable and quiet, no external sounds are heard, I liked them very much. In each running air conditioning and even the sun will not bother you, the glasses in them are darkened. We went on it to the street of Kur Salei, there is a market, which I also advise you to look at. Especially try to get here in the morning, or you can get lost in the crowd. This market in Nice is very popular.
Come and see everything with your own eyes! I think that you will have a good rest here!
Love Nice..if you have limited time, get the one day tour of the french riviera.
