Sunday drive along the coast
Sometimes you just need to take a drive to escape the existential dread and cobwebs in your head. We took the road along the coast to drive to our favorite bakery in Kalk Bay- Olympia Cafe.
For some reason we only end up doing this drive when we have cabin fever and are broke 😂 #Januworry
Muizenberg beach from Boyes Drive.
Looking back towards the city
Simon's Town as seen form Boyes Drive.
2 Olympia Bakery biscotti's and a coffee for Lynton. R40. It's like a super mini holiday! They call them biscotti but it's not quite like the Italian idea of Biscotti. It's more like an oversized Romany Cream/ cake pop. I suspect it's all the cake and brownie crumbs squished together, but hey, it hits the chocolate spot just right and it's only around $0.80 for one and it happens to be my favorite thing at the bakery.
What did you do this weekend?
Hope you have a good week. Almost pay day!

This is soooo beautiful! I ready Olympia and I thought of WA State's capitol but our beaches don't look like that! Great job!
Thanks!

Thanks man! It really recharges the soul getting out in nature again.
I also had a drive on the beach this weekend. It was very dark and foggy here in Coastal Texas though.

That trip should clean out some cobwebs.
It sure did!
Such a beautiful place! Thanks for sharing, once again.
