Photography or a single image I feel often captures those treasured moments in ones life, there is nothing quite like looking back and reflecting good or bad. But I also find that just like the act of writing our collective pictures can also be a art-form. The beauty and meaning of a photo can be expressed and shared in many ways including not even using a single word but instead just seeing what it makes you feel.

While I do enjoy photography I used to share those "everyday" type images that captures just those typical day to day activities, the feedback was mostly positive and so I continued sharing these "Ulog type" photos on Steemit.

Almost every picture as a story to tell right? Or at least that is what I was often been told by some of my followers when I first started sharing photos on here, and I would have to agree with them.

Like I expected it was often difficult to get out posts while I was travelling to visit my father. On my return things got back to normal however what I didn't expect was my father to turn up here to visit me so soon again. So far it's still been possible to get posts out but just about and so if your wondering why there was no post on a particular day, or why the posts were going out at unusual times, it's because for the moment my father is down visiting and can require a lot of attention. To put out a post it may not always be possible, but at least I have caught up on some sleep after only having 2 hours yesterday and now last night 6 hours of sleep. That's a much better improvement but I still feel tired and could do with some more. The weather this morning is a improvement from yesterday we have sunshine which I hope will warm the place-up however the sky isn't a very clear one with some small but very dark clouds but mostly filled with lighter ones. I woke-up 2 hours before my alarm and just rested until it was time to get started for the day. I had just missed my father going out which means this was a good opportunity to get a few chores done before having to go into work later. On the way I was very surprised by the weather it was actually heating up nicely. This was enough that after work I decided to go for a long walk getting sunshine in the park. I was worried that at one point I might of been catching too much of it but I think the still dark clouds around made sure it wouldn't make me unwell. Since I decided to get some shopping done on the way home I was late getting back. Arriving home I was again very surprised to see that my father had not yet returned. He left the house in the morning and so expected him to arrive in the afternoon. About one hour later he finally arrived saying how much he enjoyed he's day and proceeded to tell me all about it for the rest of the night a long with showing me pictures of our road trip. Today's Picture

As for the picture today I share some flower photography, a quick disclaimer I understand that this type of photography on Steemit has a bit of a bad reputation. This is because it was often used by spammers to make like 8 posts each day.
Hopefully as you can see from my blog I'm nowhere near making 8 or more posts per day on the topic of flower imagery.

This was captured on the way to work, just before the first actual road crossing and around this time the weather was starting to get better. Photographed in the very early morning and so for the time it would still be icy. In this particular photo going for a closer look you can see the stems much better, they are in-fact still slightly iced over, almost frozen, this is probably one of the better photos where I could demonstrate this affect. With them still being frozen and waiting for the sun to hit them we can see about 4 of the Ragworts are still sleeping.

More difficult to notice here but if we take notice of "the sleepers side" looking into the background the taller Common Ragwort get unfrozen first for various reasons and of course some likely will barely ever feel the sun.

As we can see they are in clusters with flattened flower heads, they are a food source for many insects however they are said to contains many different alkaloids and thus making them a poisonous flower to certain animals. Strangely it seems that for a flower so common there is still much about it that is not fully understood as in some cases it's been said they can be used for medicine and that some animals are not affected by eating them.

I still believe these are indeed the Common Ragwort flower, and while this is likely what they are the plant itself however does give me some doubts. If you happen to know for sure, let me know in the comments section below, or tell me instead what it is you think they might be.
