Photography or a single image I feel often captures those treasured moments in ones life, there is nothing quite like looking back and reflecting good or bad. But I also find that just like the act of writing our collective pictures can also be a art-form. The beauty and meaning of a photo can be expressed and shared in many ways including not even using a single word but instead just seeing what it makes you feel.

While I do enjoy photography I used to share those "everyday" type images that captures just those typical day to day activities, the feedback was mostly positive and so I continued sharing these "Ulog type" photos on Steemit.

Almost every picture as a story to tell right? Or at least that is what I was often been told by some of my followers when I first started sharing photos on here, and I would have to agree with them.

Last night I went to sleep under the usual late hour as I continue trying to improve my sleeping pattern. As for falling asleep this didn't take long which kind of surprised me, sure there was no cat knocking on the door as I think she was already in another room. But it was very hot yesterday and so by night time my room was still very warm yet it thankfully didn't cause me trouble to sleep. When I did fall asleep I woke-up 40 mins to my scheduled alarm, not sure why. The alarm was set for earlier than usual to make sure I stick to the better sleep pattern but could of done with more sleep. Which likely wouldn't of been a problem if I had those original 40 minutes that I was suppose to have. However it's when I started the day that I began to realise what it was that may of disturbed my sleep. I woke-up with a kind of sore throat which I think likely happened because it was so hot in my room last night. Maybe with enough Steem one day I can get aircon but for now there are just too many other things that take priority. As for the weather this morning we started slightly cloudy but it quickly changed to having a beautiful blue sky with lots of very bright an likely hot sunshine. Temperature wise it remained warm and pushing just past being comfortable, we had however been warned that it was about to get very hot for the next few days. Since I didn't have work today the early start gave me the opportunity to hopefully get more chores done or any tasks for my father. I had to pay a company to get the documents he needed printed but hope to soon be able to buy a new printer as the one I have doesn't work efficiently. For today I mostly filled out forms for my father. I also got distracted reading the DAO proposal for SBD's to be used to buy Steem and then burn them. To be honest I like the SBD situation we have now and while I understand it could make the price of Steem go up wouldn't it be only temporary as people just mostly continue to receive and sell their rewards? Since I was off work today and some friends had now returned from helping family I sent them a message asking if they wanted to meet later. I reckon they were still sleeping as the replies only came in later, and honestly I promise I didn't send them messages at a early hour it was already past the 10 o'clock mark when I did. Regardless to no surprise I was told it would be fine to meet later. I changed clothes, organised my bag and got ready to leave. On the way to to seeing friends I noticed the temperature had sworn up which I was prepared for. By the time I got to my friends the sun was getting to me but luckly they already had the aircon running and so I was able to quickly cool down. Infact it got to a point where I was even feeling too cold but they insisted it was too hot to turn the aircon off, I just hope this doesn't cause my throat to get any worse. We had a great time together with some good conversation, I left a little late as my friend insisted in showing me some gifts they received from their trip to help family. Returning home it had got cooler thankfully and the wind was picking-up. When I did arrive home I went for dinner which was mostly salad and fruits which was delicious it quickly started to hit me that I was tired and so settled in for the night. Steem tokens continue to strangely require to be over 500 to make a trade. On Steemit.com I'm glad to still see it working as it should, work on updating the look of the Steemit.com interface continues on for something more "modern" I was very worried about this but the changes aren't anything drastic and Alpha testing can be trialled. Today's Picture

As for the picture today I share some flower photography, a quick disclaimer I understand that this type of photography on Steemit has a bit of a bad reputation. This is because it was often used by spammers to make like 8 posts each day.
Hopefully as you can see from my blog I'm nowhere near making 8 or more posts per day on the subject of flowers.

I believe this was captured on the way to work near the super market as the weather was improving, the main focus here is the large faced Red Ballerina Heesterrozen who looked beaming on the day.

I know this is in black and white but while it's called the Red Ballerina Heesterrozen I honestly feel it's more pink in colour, but to be honest when I have seen the ones they call the Pink Ballerina it makes more sense to me as to why these are categorised as the red ones.

Regardless I love the colour contrast of these flowers, I think even in black and white this is noticeable especially in this capture you can see such a contrast from it's face.

So far we have had middle aged Ballerina Heesterrozens and old, I think we did capture one still growing it's last petal but I don't think I have seen any baby buds yet. Likely with such a happy face this one is very much in it's prime but as obviously already suffered some damage, from here it will be unfortunately downhill.

I also like the different leaves here but I'm curious about a flower to the lower left side as I'm not sure what it is called.

We got the razor leaf which as often appeared in these photos one in particular is almost non-existed due to nails.

Unfortunately since we already know this is the Red Ballerina Heesterrozen there will be no upvote for guessing it's name. However there is also the plant with the grey like buds which we have now encountered here many times. They can just about be seen on this image to the top right corner so I don't expect any guesses, does anybody know what they are?
