Hyenas at the Monarto Zoo South Australia.

in #photography6 years ago

I took these photo's at the Monarto Zoo South Australia a few years ago. Monarto Zoo is an open range zoo that is spread over an area of 3700 acres or 1500 hectares.

The zoo was created in 1983 as a breeding area for endangered species, in 1993 it was developed into a large educational facility open to the public with bus and walking tours.

I hope you enjoy my photo's and thanks for the visit, Cheers.

Great pictures silverbug, Hyenas are a strange looking animal but very efficient. Thanks for sharing. :o)

They do look a little strange, they have a weird shape body that was built for a purpose, cheers mate.

You wouldn't want to meet this character in a dark alley, would you? lol.

I reckon not, they are a very tough little beasts that's for sure, cheers.

The picture of the zoo was very good. We have zoos in the country but there is no such animal bird. Our children are being deprived of seeing many animals

Indeed they are, I guess it our job as parents to make sure they do get to see and learn about these animals, thank you cheers.
