A photo I took in Girnar, The mountain with 10,000 steps! (1)
OKAY! So I travelled with some of my friends to a place called Girnar in Gujarat Located about 5 km from Junagadh City to trek the great mountain of Girnar with 10,000 steps. It's one of the toughest religious treks in India. I'm not a believer in any way, but I followed my photographer's intuition and boy was it rewarding. I took a lot of pictures of my friends there and the picture above is one of the shots I took up there with a few dying thorn trees. This particular picture features Manas Ajmera as the model.
This is the original raw:
I shot it at these settings:
Exposure: 1/250 sec at f/2.0
Focal length: 50mm
ISO: 3200
I edited the raw in Lightroom and then dodged/burned and Cropped with content aware in Photoshop.
This is a side by side comparison:
I will be posting more pictures from my travels in Gujarat!
Thanks for the support!
Toodles!
Beautiful composition
Thanks a lot!
The background of this picture is truly amazing. You just have to love being out and about in nature.
So how did it feel climbing up 10 000 steps? Sounds like quite a work out and a great way to connect with God, or in your case to connect with the inner you.
It really was quite the workout! The journey really was tiring but after all, that once you reach the top you feel like you've added something to your soul and I could never describe that heavenly view you would have to see it for yourself it's breathtaking.
Oh man. All the more reason to work hard so that I can afford to travel there myself and experience it.👨💻
