CATS ARE INTROVERTS AND ANARCHISTS - LIKE A LOT OF STEEMIT USERS.steemCreated with Sketch.

Our big fluffy Maine Coon cat wants to be on Steemit too.

In many ways he is a lot like many Steemit users.

Although he is big for a cat at 9kg (22lbs) he is certainly not a fighter. He keeps himself to himself, and unless another cat marches up and literally gets in his face, he sits in a zen like state looking out over his fairly large domain.

But if confronted, he won’t back down. He stays put and holds his ground. Even against the neighbours Labrador dog. Who fortunately is a bit scared of him.

Maine Coons were bred to catch and kill huge rats in grain stores. Because grain store rats are big and vicious, Maine Coons don’t play about with rats, they just give them the smack down.

He loves to kill rats, but he is too good at it, and over the years he has wiped out the local rat population, so he has a hard job finding any to kill these days. When they were more plentiful he used to enjoy making big piles of dead rats on the back lawn.

When killing rats he always keeps his face well back and slaps them away hard with his paw. Hard enough to send them flying right across the whole back lawn!

He isn’t really that interested in birds, and unless one lands right in front of him (which actually has happened very occasionally) he leaves them alone. New Zealand has quite a few militant anti-cat bird freaks who don’t seem to know that the biggest source of attacks on birds are rats, and that they should be sending donations to our rat killing bird defender cat.

Hermoso gato, es muy cierto lo que publicas, el temperamento de los gatos es algo divino, no se meten con nadie, no buscan depender de nadie y sin embargo demuestran amor, a su estilo y a sus formas pero el amor que tienen por uno se siente.

I have met this cat and i believe he's a deviant

He said the same thing about you!

excellent judge of character he is..LOL

Quite a productive guy you have there. Were the 4 legged rats in New Zealand when Europeans arrived?

My Scary Mary can hold her own in the critter catching business.

No - they came over on the first ships from Europe

Looks like a good rat killer!

I just wanted to let you know that you are leaving some money on the table right now by doing 100% power up posts. STEEM Dollars are worth $1.98 right now which is kind of hilarious. So if you weren't 100% powering up you would make twice as much on the liquid reward half. You are paying like a 25% tax on what you are doing right now in a way.

Thanks, I'll stop doing that from now on, I didn't realise they had gone up so high

The earliest ancestor of the modern cat lived about 30 million years ago. Scientists called it the Proailurus, which means “first cat” in Greek. The group of animals that pet cats belong to emerged around 12 million years ago.

The earliest ancestor of the modern Steemit bot lived about 18 months ago. Scientists called it another bloody bot, which means “pain in the arse” in Geek. The group of spam that bots belong to emerged around 12 months ago.

A bots comments are like fingerprints - a bunch of lines that don't mean much

Many cats cannot properly digest cow's milk. Milk and milk products give them diarrhea.

Many bots get diarrhea too so they keep posting comments. I think I may have it as well...

On average, a cat will sleep for 16 hours a day.

Cheetahs do not roar, as the other big cats do. Instead, they purr.

Most cats give birth to a litter of between one and nine kittens. The largest known litter ever produced was 19 kittens, of which 15 survived.

The leopard is the most widespread of all big cats.

A 2007 Gallup poll revealed that both men and women were equally likely to own a cat.
