Asian Pigeonwings Flower

Hellow friends.Welcome to my photography blog.I have share some photos of a beautiful flower in this blog.Name of the flower is Asian Pigeonwings.This flower also known as butterfly pea or Clitoria ternatea.It is a flowering plant native to Southeast Asia.It belongs to the family Fabaceae,which also includes beans,peas and other legumes.This flower plants is climbing vines and has oval-shaped leaves and produce clusters of small,pea-like flowers that are usually blue or purple in color,although white and pink varieties also exist.The flowers are used to make a tea that is known for its bright blue color,which comes from a natural pigment called anthocyanin.
